This October, the FTC released a resource paged designed for small businesses and non-profits.  The site, Cybersecurity for Small Business, offers more than a dozen resources on various topics including Ransomware, Phishing, Vendor Security, and Tech Support Scams.  An important resource for companies that do not always have the resources and staff to protect from a data privacy and cybersecurity breach.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals    (IAPP) reports the site has sections that “break down the ways cyber attacks are conducted and what businesses can do to recover from an incident, as well as offer checklists companies can follow to ensure they have the proper cybersecurity measures in place.”

A valuable and timely resource at a time when headlines announcing data breaches have become more common.
